You set up machinery and equipment for the production process and reconfigure them when there are product changes. You correctly set up tools, process parameters and machine programmes in accordance with specifications. You operate production machinery and automated systems and monitor the ongoing manufacturing process. During production, you check the products for dimensional accuracy and quality using measuring and testing equipment such as callipers or gauges. You sort out defective parts and mark them in accordance with quality specifications. You identify faults at an early stage, rectify simple errors independently and report more serious problems to the relevant departments. You carefully document production and quality data in the designated systems or logs. In doing so, you comply with the health and safety, quality and hygiene regulations at your workplace.
You have successfully completed an apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), process mechanic (m/f/d), machine and plant operator (m/f/d) or cutting machine operator (m/f/d).
You have already gained experience in operating and monitoring production machinery and automated systems.
You are confident in using measuring and testing equipment such as callipers or gauges.
Your technical understanding and manual dexterity are strong points in your favour.
You have a strong focus on quality and are committed to complying with health and safety and hygiene regulations.
You have a basic spoken knowledge of German.
You work independently and are a reliable team player.
A valid work permit rounds off your profile.
