Your responsibilities

• You will prepare the consolidated financial statements in accordance with commercial law and international standards and ensure their quality;
• You will carry out the consolidation of domestic and foreign subsidiaries independently;
• You will play an active role in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, and ensure results are delivered on time.
• You will review and validate the financial data supplied by the subsidiaries.
• As the point of contact for auditors:and tax advisers in the context of audits and year-end closing procedures.
• You will clarify issues relating to income tax law within the Group context in consultation with specialist departments and external advisers.
• You will contribute to the continuous development and optimisation of consolidation processes and systems.
• You will prepare analyses and reports for senior management and international stakeholders using SAP-FI and MS Office.
• You will communicate regularly with overseas subsidiaries, including in English and, in some cases, French, to coordinate financial statement matters.
• As part of occasional business trips, you will support international sites and assist with consolidation issues there.

What we’re looking for

• Ideally, you will have a degree in business administration with a specialisation in accounting/finance; alternatively, you will have completed a commercial apprenticeship and further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d) or international certified accountant (m/f/d)
• You have several years’ experience in the field of consolidation and group financial statements
• You have a basic understanding of income tax law
• Good user knowledge of SAP FI, as well as proficiency in the MS Office suite, round off your profile
• You have a good command of English; knowledge of French is an advantage
• You possess a strong aptitude for numbers and an analytical, structured, solution-oriented and team-oriented approach to work
• You are willing to undertake occasional business trips worldwide
