Junior Civil Engineering Site Manager (m/f/d) in Viersen

Your responsibilities

• support the site management team in the planning, organisation and execution of civil engineering projects
• play an active role in coordinating and supervising construction processes on site
• take on tasks relating to schedule, cost and quality control
• be involved in quantity surveying and final accounts
• liaise with clients, authorities, utility providers and subcontractors
• support the site management team in the scheduling of personnel, equipment and materials
• assist in the implementation of earthworks, sewerage works, road construction and utility installation projects
• apply the fundamentals of surveying to monitor construction work and ensure compliance with VOB/B and VOB/C specifications throughout the construction process
• gradually take on your own areas of responsibility on site

What we are looking for

• degree in civil engineering specialising in civil engineering or have passed the examination to become a construction technician (m/f/d)
• Initial practical experience in civil engineering gained through work placements or a working student role would be an advantage
• You are characterised by your own initiative, assertiveness and ability to work under pressure
• A strong willingness to learn, combined with a structured and reliable approach to work, rounds off your profile
• Proficiency in MS Office is essential; knowledge of MS Project, RIB iTWO or AutoCAD is desirable
• You hold a Class B driving licence
• You have a basic understanding of earthworks, sewer construction, road construction and pipeline construction
• You have a basic understanding of surveying
• You possess a basic knowledge of VOB/B and VOB/C, as well as typical construction processes
