Site Manager Civil Engineering (m/f/d) in Viersen

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for the independent planning, organisation and execution of civil engineering projects; you will monitor and coordinate all construction processes, including schedule, cost and quality control; you’ll lead site meetings with clients, design offices, authorities and subcontractors; you’ll independently prepare quantity surveys and final accounts; you’ll document construction progress and ensure complete project documentation; you’ll ensure compliance with building regulations, quality standards and health and safety guidelines on site. You coordinate the deployment of in-house staff, subcontractors and construction machinery on site; you calculate and order material requirements in good time to ensure the construction process runs smoothly; you work closely with the site management teams of other trades to coordinate interfaces. You will find solution-oriented decisions for technical and organisational problems on site

What we are looking for

You will have a degree in civil engineering, further training as a construction technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification gained through professional experience Several years’ professional experience as a site manager (m/f/d) in civil engineering is desirable You have in-depth knowledge of construction planning, execution and cost accounting You are characterised by strong problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to make decisions and get things done A strong awareness of costs and good negotiating skills are among your strengths You work in a structured manner and have good organisational skills Good leadership, teamwork and communication skills round off your profile You are confident in using relevant software programmes such as MS Project, RIB iTWO and AutoCAD
