Technical Sales Engineer (m/f/d) – Large-Scale Battery Storage Solutions

Your mission

• Management and development of project clients in the field of large-scale battery storage (standalone, co-location, behind-the-meter).
• Conducting initial technical analyses and feasibility assessments (e.g., load profiles, grid connection points, site evaluations).
• Preparation and submission of grid connection requests, including sizing of storage systems and coordination of inverter/transformer parameters.
• Close collaboration with internal engineering partners to develop techno-economic analyses and business cases.
• Consulting on regulatory and energy market frameworks.
• Presenting the established zinc-bromide battery storage technology to clients, authorities and industry committees.

Your profile

• Technical or techno-economic degree (e.g., energy economics, industrial engineering, electrical engineering).
• Ideally, experience in the design or commercialization of energy storage systems.
• Understanding of electricity market mechanisms and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Redispatch 2.0, ancillary services, etc.).
• Experience with grid connection processes and technical project preparation.
• Confident demeanor, persuasive communication skills and a strong affinity for sustainable energy concepts.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
