The candidate for this position will be mainly responsible for all supplier quality related topics with focus on mechanical parts / components. The candidate should have relevant work experience in quality management as well as a technical background. High willingness to travel is also a must have. Responsibilities
lead supplier qualification, audits, process assessments, and capability evaluations with focus on mechanical components (metal as well as plastic parts) investigate supplier quality issues and drive quality improvements at suppliers evaluation of feasibility studies from suppliers close cooperation with purchasing, engineering, and production teams execution of APQP for buy parts based on combined supplier and component risk level planning, execution and approval of PSO and PPAP internal reporting as well as support of program management and quality management for external reporting Qualifications
completed education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering or Quality Management work experience in automotive Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Quality Engineering relevant work experience in production area (e.g. welding, deep drawing, injection molding, knowledge in measuring processes) is an advantage VDA 6.3 auditor certificate and solid Expertise in IATF 16949 proficient in AIAG core tools: PPAP, APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, MSA and SPC and problem solving tools (8D, Six Sigma, etc.) advanced knowledge of Casting/ Metal stamping/ Injection Molding/ Extrusion / TIM manufacturing processes knowledge of machining, welding, heat treatment, and surface finishing processes fluent english language skills self-motivated, strong communication skills and social competence high willingness to travel Please note that the salary for this position is set at a minimum of €4,600 gross per month. A higher salary may be offered depending on your qualifications and training.
