Your mission

The Döhle Assekuranzkontor GmbH & Co. KG (webpage) was founded in 1996 as an insurance broker for the Peter Döhle Group. As part of an international shipping company, we preserve traditions and are future-orientated at the same time. Our international clients value our expertise, our customised solutions and our proactive approach. We are a team of 25 insurance and shipping specialists who support our clients with excellent claims handling, administration and consultancy services. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Business Analyst (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

• Coordinator and point of contact for internal and external stakeholder requirements
• Interface between specialist departments and internal/external IT specialists
• Identifying and optimising business processes
• Creating concepts and proposals for IT or business processes
• Collecting, analysing and documenting business requirements
• Supporting the planning and implementation of IT-related projects
• Data analysis, evaluation and reporting to support business decisions
• Analysis of market trends and competitive conditions to optimise digital processes
• Support in creating and executing tests for new systems and processes
• Monitoring of SLA / OLA Agreements

Your profile

• Successfully completed training or studies in business informatics or a comparable IT-oriented qualification
• Practical experience with agile methods, in particular Scrum
• Three years of practical experience in the participation of IT projects
• Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach
• Experience in data analysis and processing with SQL
• Advantageous: Experience with Jira, Confluence, SysAid or similar
• Preferably professional experience in the shipping industry and/or in marine insurance
• Fluency in German and English
