Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and analyzing vessel performance and ensure that vessels operate efficiently
  • Analyze vessel performance reports to identify areas for improvement and optimization
  • Identifying underperforming vessels, provide suggestions, and follow up on improvements
  • Guiding and assisting the vessels and internal departments in performance related issues by means of instructions and performance evaluation
  • Working closely with the Fleet Performance Manager and being part of an active and positive Fleet Performance Team
  • Ensuring compliance with international emission regulations and requirements, e.g. EU/UK MRV, ETS, FuelEU Maritime, IMO DCS, CII, SEEMP III
  • Monitoring of operational vessel data and necessary correction to ensure a proper data base for performance analytics and emission reporting
  • Participating in the development of further fleet performance analytics and insights
  • Building a knowledge database, share trends, and promote best practices

Your Profile

  • Degree in nautical, engineering or environmental sciences
  • Maritime background and related experience in fleet performance with affinity to software and data
  • Understanding EU/UK, IMO and other emission regulations
  • Interest in working as a team with interfaces to ship management, vessels and other internal as well as external stakeholders
  • Good at coordinating and prioritizing tasks and having analytical skills
  • Experienced with MS Office and MS 365, preferably as well BI tools such as Tableau or Power-BI
  • Good communication and fluent English skills, both written and spoken
  • A high degree of quality awareness, reliability and desire for an international environment
