Deine Aufgaben
- Be responsible for the financial business planning and budgeting of the company including forecast planning, unit economics development, liquidity and cash management as well as internal capital allocation.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls for accurate reporting and compliance.
- Develop cost-management strategies to improve financial efficiency.
- Monitor financial risks and ensure timely mitigation.
- Foster a culture of cost-consciousness and financial discipline across the organization.
- Review existing policies and work with key stakeholders to agree and implement new company policies.
- Establish effective relationships with relevant stakeholders like banks, tax consultants, legal counsels, and auditors.
Dein Profil
You have been a key part of a fast-growing start-up or you’ve been working at a venture capital fund / in banking before and you understand the challenges of a fast-growing company. You have a hands-on mentality, owning the business plan (so you will be working in excel / google sheets quite a lot!) while, on the other side, you are an outgoing and strong personality communicating with banks, investors, and mostly the leadership team of Pets Deli.
More specifically you have:
- a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- a comprehensive grasp of HGB (German accounting law).
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modeling and forecasting.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken; German is a plus.
- D2C/ subscription experience is a plus.
