Supplier Quality Engineer

Your role
- Manage and develop supplier quality performance to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications
- Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis)
- Coordinate containment actions and ensure timely closure of non-conformities
- Monitor supplier KPIs (e.g., PPM, cost recovery) and lead improvement initiatives
- Act as Incoming Inspection Team Leader - coordinate the team, assign tasks
- Monitors Incoming Inspection workflow and Skip-lot effectiveness
- Act as the main quality contact for assigned suppliers and cross-functional teams
Your profile
- Secondary technical education (electrical, mechanical or similar field)
- Knowledge of quality standards and requirements related to insulating components and materials
- Experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering or Manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Basic understanding of quality methodologies and tools (8D, root cause analysis; knowledge of FMEA, PPAP, APQP is a plus)
- Experience with supplier audits or willingness to learn auditing processes
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to cooperate with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Fluency in English; German is an advantage
