Phare Consulting Group is building a team in Germany, and its first permanent hire there is an HR Generalist who sets up how we recruit and look after people in the country. You will run hiring for our German positions, prepare contracts with our employment lawyer and our payroll provider, and keep personnel files and working time records in order. It is a full-time role you do from home, wherever you are in Germany. Our leadership is in Miami, six hours behind, so expect a few calls in your afternoon each week.

Our clients are financial services, industrial, technology and healthcare companies.
Day to Day
- Post our German openings, screen applications and schedule interviews
- Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents for new joiners
- Send monthly changes to our payroll provider and check the payslips
- Keep personnel files, holiday and sick leave records up to date
- Answer employees' questions on contracts, holidays and benefits
You Should Have
- A degree or commercial training with a focus on human resources
- First experience in HR or recruiting, including internships
- Basic knowledge of German employment contracts and working time rules
Good to Have
- Experience with Personio or another HR system
- Knowledge of payroll processes
