More of our projects are for German companies, and each one starts with revenue, cost and customer data that sits in different places and doesn't quite reconcile.
The Junior Business Analyst combines it and models scenarios for the client's business plan, working online with our project team and the client's finance and sales departments.
Full-time, remote from anywhere in Germany. Our leadership is in Miami, six hours behind, so a few calls land in your afternoon.
Your first months
First month: You request data, check it and reconcile it with accounting.
By month three: You build data sets and models in Excel, run scenarios and sensitivity analyses, and produce the charts and tables for reports. You prepare and minute interviews with client departments.
By month six: Open questions on a project are recorded and followed up by you, not by the consultant.
What you bring
- Excel, including pivot tables
- An internship or first job in consulting, controlling or analysis
Also useful: A degree in business administration, economics, industrial engineering or mathematics; SQL, Power BI or Python; pricing or cost accounting; data from industrial or software companies.
What Phare offers
You get a permanent, full-time contract; work from home anywhere in Germany; 30 days of holiday plus public holidays; an employer contribution to a company pension (bAV); a yearly budget for courses, certifications and books; your laptop and home desk setup; and flexible hours around a few shared core hours.
Phare Consulting Group is a consulting firm in Miami. Companies come to us before a big decision, such as a price change, a new market or an investment, and we check whether the numbers behind it hold up. Our team in Germany works with clients there.
