Site Engagement Liaison

As a Site Engagement Liaison (SEL), you will be responsible for developing relationships with clinical trial investigators and research site staff to facilitate the recruitment of subjects in pharmaceutical industry clinical trials. You will partner with one of the world\’s premier biopharmaceutical companies, working across a vast portfolio of medicines and vaccines that have created a strong heritage of delivering innovative treatments and preventive medicines globally.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with clinical research associates (CRAs) and the study team to ensure investigators and site staff understand the investigational agents, trial eligibility criteria, and procedures.
• Manage site start-up, activation, conduct, and close-out activities, providing local expertise and site recommendations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of site strategies for identifying eligible subjects.
• Understand how the trial integrates into the site\’s treatment patterns and how external factors like competing trials or drug approvals may impact recruitment.
• Interact frequently with sponsor companies and their field personnel as part of the study team.
• Liaise with investigators to ensure they receive prompt assistance and that their concerns are communicated to the sponsor.

Qualifications

You are:

• Experienced in site management, including start-up, activation, and close-out activities.
• Familiar with the clinical research environment as a SEL, MSL, study coordinator, Senior CRA, or in a CRO setting.
• Knowledgeable about quality and regulatory requirements in relevant countries.
• Excellent communicator in both German and English.
• Able to travel as needed.
