Job Description
Your challenge:
You are part of the IGT Systems Mobile Surgery Management team, and you will report into the Business Category Leader – IGT-Systems MoS. Together with your colleagues in the IGT System team, you will set the future strategic direction for IGT with quadruple aim and customer 1st approach at the heart of everything we do. Your team will be located at different locations including Best and Pune India.
Lead the Global Marketing for the Mobile Surgery Business (MoS) within the overall Business IGT Systems. The Global Marketing Director owns portfolio, product, solutions and claims roadmaps and defines commercial specifications for the required products, being co-responsible for the realization of the products & solutions and the proper introduction of these products/solutions in the market. Defines Go-to market strategy and business opportunity based on customer insights and translates them into winning value propositions.
Key focus areas
- Formulates upstream marketing strategy for the business product, solutions and partnership portfolio.
- Collects and analyzes market information regarding mid/long term market developments.
- Defines Business long term strategy including Northstar with inputs from all the key markets in terms of future products, solutions, go-to market initiatives and directions.
- Translates mid/long term developments in the market into future product & solutions plans and identifies the necessary key components for realizing future product ranges.
- Translates product & Solutions strategies into general product and initiatives plans (time horizon 3-5 years) and defines the future product and solutions portfolio changes.
- Ensures that product & solutions plans are integrated with planning of other disciplines, like R&D, Manufacturing.
- Takes the lead in the definition of new product and solutions ranges.
- Creates world class product launches strategy & plans and drives the same in the organization.
Magnitude of responsibility:
- Objectives of action are clearly defined by long term strategy, translation into short/midterm product, solutions and go-to market plans.
- Responsible for the IGTS MoS product & Solutions roadmap.
- Responsible for the fit of the product plans with the business strategy.
- Leads a team of product managers and clinical application specialists.
Your role:
- Responsible for upstream marketing activities for the products / solutions, including definition of the strategy and its enablers as well as its alignment with key markets globally: Value proposition development based on customer insights; including Health Economics for lead markets; Portfolio, Product & Clinical claims roadmaps; Business Case; Pricing (Price setting) and margin optimization; Channel Strategy for key markets; Compliance with Quality & Regulatory requirements (if applicable).
- Driving definition, development and introduction of the products/solutions, including cross-business solution development to our customers by meeting their needs, including service and consumables.
- Responsible for lifecycle management and market readiness as part of PDLM. Ensure completion of appropriate deliverables (feature descriptions, value propositions, costing/pricing/quoting materials, etc.).
- P&L responsible for Product and/or Solutions development of the business case to support new value creation.
- Customer and Market Insights: Analyze the market, the competition, and trends on enterprise level across segment technologies to ensure the portfolio is leading the market’s needs and expectations Develop and maintain a needs-based customer segmentation requirements (across global markets and supported by Market Intelligence).
- Translating in-depth market and customer insights, as well as competitive analyses into winning concepts/ clear product specifications for the release train, in such a way that in short, mid and long term a sound business result can be achieved.
- Guiding and driving the development of new products from the initial phase until the final product, to get the optimal combination of performance and price in time for the defined market segment.
- Interacting with various disciplines including Innovation, R&D departments, internal and external design agencies, manufacturing units or external suppliers, marketing management, marketing communication and international sales organizations. Core team member in PRP/PDML from Marketing.

- Over 15 years of relevant global working experience in Marketing in Healthcare.
- Strong experience in working with global market and possibly at different locations.
- Strong work experience within the IGT and surgery domain.
