Job Description

As a Procurement Project Manager , you will be responsible for MR E2E Business Procurement Program & project activities and will be collaborating in global MR cross-functional teams.

The procurement project manager is located in Best, NL, and is part of the BIU MR Systems procurement team.

In this role you will:

• Participate in global project teams where you represent procurement and deliver the required procurement inputs & deliverables.
• Drive procurement activities related to: New Product Introductions (NPI), Lifecycle management (incl. sourcing transfers & concept improvements), and service domain.
• Manage sourcing activities with supplier(s), e.g. RFP/Q, DfX, sourcing plans, and agreements.
• Drive early supplier involvement, innovation, value up & productivity.
• Drive supply base improvements (de-risking) and supply chain optimizations.
• Collaborate with Supplier-Quality/Engineering in the new supplier/component release process.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or supply chain management.
• 4+ years of experience in a procurement, supply chain, or engineering type of role.
• Team player with strong analytic, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of products & component engineering/sourcing.
• Understanding of supply chain and cost models/drivers and productivity optimizations.
• Strategic thinker with a ‘can do’ attitude. Result-driven, able to deliver and make an impact.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require a full-time presence in the company’s facilities. This role is onsite.
