For our PHOENIX Competence Centre IT & Digital, we are looking for a Senior Active Directory Engineer (m/f/d) . This position can be filled at our locations in Mannheim, Fürth (Nuremberg), or Sofia (Bulgaria).

Your Tasks

• Support and further development of our highly available platforms for Microsoft Active Directory (AD), including domain migrations and continuous security improvements in close collaboration with the IT Security department and CISO.
• Administration of Domain Controllers with the latest Windows Server operating systems.
• Management of complex AD and GPO structures, including root/child domains and DMZ Windows domains.
• Support and development of our AD Schema, Active Directory Federation Services, AD Sync to Azure.
• Error analysis and troubleshooting in Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server as a 3rd level support.
• Support and active participation in infrastructure integration and consolidation projects.
• Experience with PKI certificate management is a plus.

Your Profile

• Degree in computer science or comparable well-founded IT training, e.g., as an IT specialist.
• At least 5 years of professional and consulting experience in designing infrastructure architectures.
• Experience working in an international environment, possibly with external providers.
• Independent, result-oriented, and process-focused working style.
• Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with consulting experience.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
