What you will be doing:
COMMUNICATION:
- Visit customers.
- Be told “no” and “that won't work” by customers, then iterate.
- Communicate openly, directly and respectfully with colleagues.
DATA ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH
- Analyse financials, work schedules, manufacturing capabilities, technical drawings, 3D meshes and STEP files.
- Read domain-specific research on state-of-the-art approaches, compare methods, build proofs of concept and balance trade-offs.
INFRASTRUCTURE
- Build enterprise-grade architecture for model inference and secure data storage on GCP and AWS.
- Call, run and host LLMs reliably.
BUILDING
- Build efficient agentic harnesses.
- Build reliable ML models for fast, real-time inference over high-dimensional inputs, from linear regression and random forests to MLPs.
GROW
- Take on increasingly complex problems while helping build a growing team.
- Be open to documenting and sharing your work on social media while respecting customer and company confidentiality.
