Open Call: Fully Funded Doctoral Fellowships

We\’re excited to announce the annual open call for fully funded doctoral fellowships in the field of quantum science and technology in Bavaria!
Several 3-year-long doctoral fellowships are provided by Munich Quantum Valley (MQV) and the International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS-QST) for excellent German or international students, starting from Fall 2026.
Who can apply: candidates with a Master\’s degree (or equivalent) to be completed by September 2026. Whether you aspire to be a physicist, engineer, or computer scientist dedicated to work in the field of quantum science and technology, we strongly encourage you to apply, if you are passionate and dedicated! There are no tuition fees, and all Ph.D. positions are fully funded for a duration of three years.

The candidates benefit from the research environment and support programs provided by the Cluster of Excellence Munich Center for Quantum Science and Technology (MCQST).
