PhD student/junior scientist – Time-resolved photoelectron circular dichroism experiments at ELI Beamlines
We are offering a position of PhD student / scientist (part time). The candidate will be employed at the University of Kassel, Germany to work on TR-PECDELI project within the BMBF network. Within the TR-PECDELI project, an experimental setup for time resolved photoelectron circular dichroism (TR-PECD) will be developed at the ELI Beamlines facility .
Job description
- Participation in development of setup for TR-PECD at ELI Beamlines;
- Polarimetry measurements in the extreme ultraviolet spectral range;
- Participation in beamtimes at ELI Beamlines and other facilities.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in physics, chemistry or nanoscience;
- Willingness to travel: employment is at the University of Kassel, however, it is required that the candidate spends extended periods at ELI Beamlines.
