The Theoretical Particle Physics group at the University of Siegen invites applications for several postdoctoral positions in particle phenomenology. The positions are paid according to the German employment scheme TVL E13 and are available for the duration of two years, with a possible extension by one more year.
The interests of the Theoretical Particle Physics group cover a wide range of topics in particle phenomenology including flavour physics, Higgs physics, jet physics, top physics, effective field theories, higher-order QCD calculations, Monte-Carlo event generators, lattice gauge theory, and physics beyond the Standard Model. The principal investigators include Guido Bell, Thorsten Feldmann, Tobias Huber, Alexander Khodjamirian, Wolfgang Kilian, Björn O. Lange, Alexander Lenz, Thomas Mannel, Alexei Pivovarov, Vladyslav Shtabovenko, and Oliver Witzel. The group furthermore cooperates with the theoretical particle physics groups at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, RWTH Aachen, and the University of Heidelberg within the DFG Collaborative Research Center “Particle Physics Phenomenology after the Higgs Discovery.”
Applications should be submitted via Academic Jobs Online (AJO) at . The applicants should provide a CV, a statement of research interests, and a list of publications, and they should arrange for three reference letters to be submitted through AJO.
The deadline for applications is January 6, 2025 . Later applications will be considered as long as the position has not been filled.
