Responsibilities
The Business Development Manager (m/f/d) is responsible for driving business growth within the company. They develop a network of contacts to attract new customers, penetrate key market opportunities, and oversee growth projects in Europe (EMEA + DACH). They also make sales projections and forecast revenue in line with projected income.
- Generate growth in the defense market across Europe.
- Support subsidiaries in market and customer penetration within Europe (intra‑synergy).
- Synergize across Europe and with worldwide sales in Aerospace & Defense.
- Monitor the Aerospace & Defense competitor landscape.
- Identify industrial clusters related to Aerospace & Defense (technology/markets) and network accordingly.
Qualifications
You are a strong personality with excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Higher education in engineering, physics, business administration, or a related discipline.
- Experience in business development within Europe; global experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Defense markets and customers.
- Good knowledge of the relevant applications; understanding of the related PI technologies is an advantage.
- Strong and active network inside Europe.
- Good knowledge of key players in Europe, especially Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Israel, and Great Britain.
- Willingness to travel.
