Senior Web Software Engineer, Growth

Picsart is on the hunt for a Senior Software Engineer (React.js, NextJS, Web Performance) for its Growth Group. This team is at the forefront of driving growth on our web channel, focusing on increasing traffic through various acquisition methods, enhancing user retention, and monetizing the platform more effectively. As a member of our dynamic team, you will be collaborating with diverse teams across Picsart, including SEO, Marketing, and the larger Web team. Working alongside our seasoned engineers and stakeholders, you’ll be in an environment that values your input and expertise. You Will:

• Develop efficient, high-performing, and scalable web applications using React.
• Enhance the speed and efficiency of the website, utilizing tools like Lighthouse to improve performance scores.
• Design and build a robust and scalable structural framework for the website.
• Conduct performance testing and implement optimizations.
• Oversee continuous integration/deployment pipelines to streamline updates and deployments.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior and mid-level team members, promoting best practices and high-quality coding standards.
• Collaborate with SEO specialists to ensure the website is search engine friendly and ranks well.
• Maintain clear communication within the team and across departments to align with company objectives and customer needs.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and analyze product design complexity to plan workloads and communicate risks.
• Uphold industry standards and company policies to ensure website safety, compliance, and integrity.

About You:

• Minimum 5+ years as a JavaScript Engineer.
• Proficiency in React JS, TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Skills in HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with Responsive/Adaptive Design and Single Page Apps.
• Familiar with Lighthouse and Chrome Performance tools.
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and their efficient implementation and manipulation.
• JS and CSS performance optimization expertise is highly valued.
• Expertise in store management (Redux, Zustand).
• Expertise in RESTful services.
• Experience in building tools like Webpack or Rollup.
• Problem-solving ability for complex technical challenges.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git.
• Background in Scrum methodologies.
• Awareness of microfrontends architecture is a plus.
