We are looking for an experienced Safekeeping Cash Desk Specialist to join our team in Zurich. As a key member of our motivated team, you will be working within the bank’s Custody, Reporting Regulatory Services division. /ph3Your role /h3ulliLead cash operations (withdrawals, deposits and foreign exchange) for the Zurich and Basel branches, in line with internal controls and with an excellent level of service /liliSupervise the central cash fund, monitor currency stock levels and ensure the smooth operation and replenishment of ATMs /liliOrganise and support the team (planning, coaching, performance follow-up, recruitment where needed) /liliOversee the handling of physical securities, precious metals, coins and cheques, as well as the coordination of cash and valuables transport /liliEnsure proper management of safe deposit boxes for clients and employees (processes and controls) /liliMaintain and update procedures, supporting effective internal controls /li /ulh3Your profile /h3ulliCompleted commercial apprenticeship, ideally complemented by further education in banking/finance or equivalent /liliSignificant experience (minimum 5–8 years) in a banking environment, including exposure to cash/treasury operations, central funds and physical securities handling /liliProven experience in managing an operational team /liliVery good understanding of operational risks and regulations related to cash activities /liliComfortable working with demanding high-end clientele and senior internal stakeholders /liliStrong leadership, ability to federate teams, take decisions and manage priorities /liliStrong IT skills and proficiency in common office applications /liliFluent in German and English; French is a plus /liliResident in Switzerland /li /ulh3Diversity Inclusion /h3pbPictet is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
