Our culture welcomes independent thinkers and centers around investment excellence, a long-term perspective and a dedication to client service.

Your role
The Senior Sales Manager – Intermediaries Germany is responsible for promoting Pictet AM’s services to intermediary investors, including banks, asset managers, family offices, independent asset managers, IFAs, insurance companies, and other financial institutions. You will play a key role in expanding our client base and strengthening relationships within the German market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a structured prospecting programme, including scheduling appointments and organizing presentations for decision-makers and investment experts at targeted institutions.
  • Take client responsibility for a defined region, covering all intermediary client groups.
  • Collaborate closely with investment teams and product specialists to devise innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Coordinate the production of documentation, contracts, reporting, presentations, and RFP responses with internal stakeholders.
  • Organize and manage client events in Germany to enhance Pictet AM’s market presence.
  • Prospect clients: set up a prospect contact programme, schedule appointments, and organise presentation meetings for decision-makers and investment experts who represent institutions identified as potential clients.
  • Maintain client responsibility for a region across all client groups.
  • Collaborate with investment teams and product specialists to meet clients’ needs; extensive knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies is a prerequisite.
  • Organise events in Germany.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Economics or Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of five to seven years’ experience in selling to intermediary investors in Germany.
  • CFA or AZEK diploma would be an asset.
  • Established network of contacts in the German fund industry and a proven track record in developing long-term client relationships and converting prospects into clients.
  • Team player with a flair for building a strong, collaborative working environment with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
  • German native speaker, fluent in English; French is a plus.
  • Must be resident in Germany, based in Frankfurt.

As the successful applicant you will show drive, have a keen entrepreneurial spirit and be able to develop successful business relationships and close deals. You will also have a flair for communication, be able to manage priorities and multi-task on different projects concurrently, as well as having an eye for detail. Working in a self-reliant manner in a broader team makes you excel. You will be joining a structured and highly motivated team where you will ultimately become a main contact person for our Intermediaries clients.
