These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Risk, Tax and Sustainability Office departments. /p pbr/Based in Geneva, you will join the Group Sustainability Office (GSO), which supports the advancement of Pictet's sustainability strategy across the firm. You will report to the senior impact manager and work day to day with the impact investment specialist who leads our impact investing platform, alongside the sustainability lead and members of the research team. /p h3Your role /h3 pYou will dedicate around 50% of your time to professionalising an internal platform created to run a multi-asset, multi-theme sustainability impact portfolio for the Wealth Management division. The platform is a Python and LLM-based application combining a PostgreSQL database, LLM-based agents and human-in-the-loop workflows for investment assessment, portfolio analytics and reporting. Your mission will be to help evolve the platform towards enterprise standards - cloud infrastructure, multiple users, security and governance - while continuing to extend what it can do. /p pbr/The rest of your time will be dedicated to sustainability data and automation initiatives across the Group Sustainability Office. This can include developing sustainability integration tools for our investment teams, user-friendly dashboards for the GSO and ad-hoc data analysis to support ongoing GSO projects. /p pbr/This is a hands-on role for someone equally at ease in a database, in a prompt, and in a meeting with the bank's engineering, data, infrastructure and security teams. /p pbr/You will be in charge of: /p ul libBuild and evolve the platform: /b Co-design data pipelines, LLM-based agents, analytics and reporting features with the business line, and build user-friendly GSO dashboards in coordination with Finance and Data teams. /li libOwn and understand the data /b: Identify, source and define required data, maintaining a single source of truth across schema, ingestion, data quality, versioning, auditability and large complex datasets. /li libIndustrialise with strong engineering: /b Move prototypes to the bank's cloud infrastructure with secure, monitored multi-user access, and enforce solid testing, documentation, deployment and audit practices. /li libEnsure trustworthy, cutting-edge AI: /b Implement evaluation, guardrails and human review for explainable outputs, while assessing and responsibly deploying new LLM and agent capabilities. /li libAct as the interface: /bTranslate between business and technical teams and navigate engineering, infrastructure, security and compliance stakeholders to get decisions made. /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul libExperience /b: 1-3 years in data, AI or software roles. /li libData engineering /b: Strong SQL and data management skills (pipelines, data quality, traceability) plus solid Python and modern practices (Git, code review, CI/CD). /li libAI/ML, LLMs GenAI: /b Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including generative AI and large language models, with hands-on experience using LLM APIs, prompt design, RAG/agentic patterns, and systematic evaluation of model output (eval sets, guardrails, human review) in real projects. /li libCommunication, autonomy mindset /b: Able to turn loosely defined business needs into solutions, explain technical topics clearly to non-specialists, work autonomously in a large organisation, and constructively challenge the status quo to improve processes and outcomes. /li libMotivation language /b: Genuine interest in sustainable/impact investing (no prior domain experience required) and fluent in English. /li libNice to have: /b Experience with AWS or Azure; PostgreSQL/SQLAlchemy/FastAPI (or similar stack); working in financial services or another regulated industry; French. /li /ul h3Note /h3 pWe will not accept any CVs via agencies. /p h3Diversity Inclusion /h3 pbPictet is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
