Job Purpose/ Role:
You will be part of the European Sustainability team to further support the development and execution of the European ESG agenda for PIMCO Prime Real Estate.
Start: as soon as possible
Location: Frankfurt / office presence
Duration: minimum of 6 months
Key responsibilities:
ESG Strategy Execution

Participate in ESG-related asset and portfolio level analyses and benchmarking of ESG performance criteria

Support local asset management colleagues in developing or refining asset-specific ESG strategies (e.g., certifications, decarbonization and energy performance, biodiversity, etc.)

Support business / product development initiatives and investor communication
ESG Initiatives & Tools
- Participate in Monitor ESG implementation status
- Help in driving and implementing programmatic initiatives within and across the regions
ESG Regulation & Reporting
- Keep abreast of key ESG trends and technological advancements in real estate
- Monitor regulatory requirements for ESG / sustainability across various topics such as building performance or reporting requirements with a focus on local regulation
- Contribute to thought leadership through active participation in industry initiatives and public consultations
Key requirements:
- You are preparing a Master’s degree in sustainable development, management (sustainable/environmental), real estate, finance or economics, civil engineering or architecture; ideally with an additional qualification in real estate
- You already have a professional background in real estate asset, portfolio, fund or investment management, real estate finance, banking or consulting
- Knowledge of real estate investments/asset management and relevant (local) sustainability regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Attention to detail, strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Practicality and perseverance to complete projects and tasks
- Fluency in English and French is a prerequisite
- Enjoy working in a dynamic multicultural business environment
