Ethernet AVB expert engineer

Pioneer is expanding and is setting up a new R&D center in Wetzlar, Germany to support our car entertainment business.

To strengthen our new engineering team, we are looking for a
Ethernet AVB expert .

Your responsibilities:

– Design and implement software for Ethernet AVB-enabled talker and listener devices

– Use 3rd party software stacks to implement customer requirements

– Connect AVB streams to audio framework

– Adapt existing Ethernet MAC drivers to AVB needs

– Validate implemented functionality using Ethernet AVB test tools

– Perform latency measurements

– Design and implement test cases for software validation and production test

– Debug interoperability issues together with our customers

Required skills?

– At least 3-5 years of experience in Ethernet AVB software development in embedded systems

– Good knowledge of RTOS-based systems in conjunction with low-latency applications

– Excellent knowledge of C and C++

– Excellent knowledge in Ethernet AVB and related technologies (e.g. clocking)

– Using GIT as code revisioning system is a must

– Good English skills in speaking and writing

– Considered as a big plus:

• Knowing how to use Ethernet AVB test equipment (e.g. TSN Systems)
• Track record of using tools for agile development
• German language
• Automotive background
