HR Manager

Switzerland . By providing technology and service focused solutions to the international arena of the Oil & Gas industry, the PIPECARE Group of companies has been helping our customers ensure the integrity of their pipeline and facility assets for over 20 years. Industry/sector: Oil & Gas / In Line Inspection services. We are only considering the candidates who are based in Switzerland. Key Responsibilities
Plan, develop, and oversee the implementation of the company’s international HR strategies Create HR programs and policies and ensure they are successfully implemented and adhered to in all the branches of the company Supervise and lead the corporate HR staff and provide advice, support, and leadership to HR teams in various branches of the company Counsel senior team members about HR-related matters Handle communications with global HR team members Implement corporate company policies and procedures Manage the recruitment, selection and placement process for the assigned territory Oversee skills management, training and development concerns Process and approve vacation leave benefits including air ticket and leave salary entitlement Oversee office facility and administrative requirements Deliver disciplinary action procedures and recommend appropriate corrective measures as per corporate procedures and in accordance with the local labor legislation Handle performance management issues and ensure due diligence in conducting performance appraisals of permanent and probation employees on the assigned territory Manage employee relations concerns Receive requests in ERP and monitor timely completion of requests Responsible for the smooth and timely delivery of services relating to HR and administrative management Responsible for developing new programs and services related to employee management Keep policies and procedures updated and relevant to the requirements of the company Maintain updated, secure and confidential HR file system as per corporate standards and aligned with local labour legislation Communicate HR/Admin Policies and ensure that all employees understand them Authorized to take first level approval for leave applications and air ticket requests Authorized to take first level approval for cash reimbursements for medical claims and conveyance expenses for the assigned territory Authorized to create and revise ERP Profiles of employees for the assigned territory Authorized to raise payment requests in ERP for allowances, accommodation expenses, bonuses, etc Executes other tasks as might be requested by the management or Head of the regional office Skills/Experience
Masters or Bachelor’s Degree preferably or a certified course in HR. Minimum 10 years of experience out of which 5 years of Managerial role. Exposure to HR best practices in various geographies such as Europe and Middle East Experience in ensuring full compliance with the company’s activities and procedures with labor legislation in various regions. Experience in HR budget preparation and control Experience in areas such as employee engagement, talent management and succession planning Fluent in English, knowledge of other language will be plus Physical and Mental Requirements
Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
