My client, one of the leading Charge Point Operators (CPOs) in Europe, is looking to add an Expansion Manager to their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying and securing new locations to support the continued rollout of fast-charging infrastructure across Germany.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of land acquisition — from identifying and evaluating suitable locations to negotiating and finalizing lease agreements.
- Approach and engage commercial, private, and municipal property owners to secure cooperation for future projects.
- Conduct thorough analyses of potential sites, including market conditions and location-specific factors, to assess long-term value and feasibility.
- Establish and maintain a strong network of local stakeholders, including property owners, real estate professionals, and municipal representatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover and execution.
- Take full ownership of your designated region, working independently and strategically while being backed by a supportive team culture.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable role, with a strong focus on site acquisition, location development, or real estate expansion.
- Proven track record of successful negotiations and long-term lease agreements.
- Strong knowledge of regional real estate markets and an established network in the property industry is a clear advantage.
- Native-level proficiency in German and fluent English, both written and spoken.
- High level of initiative, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned region and occasionally to the company’s headquarters.
- Interest in future mobility solutions — previous experience in electromobility or fast-charging infrastructure is welcome, but not required. Comprehensive onboarding and training will be provided.
