The Role:

As a Senior Project Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of BESS projects, ensuring they are designed, engineered, and delivered to the highest standards. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will provide technical leadership and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the engineering design and technical aspects of BESS projects from concept to completion.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and grid connection analysis.
• Manage technical due diligence, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and external contractors to optimize project execution.
• Provide technical support on permitting, grid integration, and commissioning activities.
• Stay up to date with emerging BESS technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.

About You:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong focus on BESS or grid-scale energy storage projects .
• Knowledge of German grid regulations and permitting processes.
• Experience with energy storage system design, grid connection, and power system analysis.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent in German and English .
