Senior Project Developer – Onshore Wind | Germany (Remote)

An established renewable energy developer is expanding its onshore wind project development team in Germany and is looking for an experienced Senior Project Developer to drive large-scale projects from inception to construction readiness.

This role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of a diverse project portfolio, working across greenfield development, co-development, and repowering , while engaging with landowners, and key stakeholders to secure approvals and permits.

Key Responsibilities :

End-to-end project management – Oversee large-scale onshore wind projects from initial feasibility and land acquisition to permitting and construction readiness.

Stakeholder engagement – Act as the key contact for municipalities, landowners, environmental agencies, and external consultants.

Approval & permitting processes – Lead planning applications, land-use procedures, and permitting.

Cross-functional collaboration – Work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive project success.

Market & regulatory research – Monitor policy developments and regional planning regulations to identify new opportunities.

What We’re Looking For :

• 4-10 years’ experience in renewable energy project development in Germany, ideally in onshore wind.
• Strong knowledge of permitting procedures, and land registry.
• Proven ability to negotiate land agreements and build relationships with landowners.
• Familiarity with onshore wind farm technology and construction requirements .
• Fluent in German and English (written & spoken).
• Willingness to travel across Germany.
