Junior AI Automation Developer

We are adding a Junior AI Automation Developer to our team to help us support a major project for a German renewable energy firm in Hamburg. This client manages a large network of wind turbines and solar installations, and they need better ways to handle the massive amounts of data their hardware produces. In this role, you will help build the scripts and internal tools that connect their sensor data to their maintenance databases, using basic AI integrations to help categorize and filter technical logs. You will work closely with our senior developers to ensure these automations are reliable and easy to maintain.

The Role
In this role, you will be focused on building automations that move data between different systems. For our renewable energy client, this means writing code that takes information from wind turbine sensors and formats it so it can be used by their maintenance teams. You will be helping to replace manual data entry tasks with automated scripts that run in the background. This is a fully remote, permanent position that requires you to be comfortable managing your own time and staying organized.
A typical day might involve writing a script to fetch data from an API, using a basic AI model to sort through error messages, and then saving that data into a Postgres database. You will also spend time cleaning up older code and making sure that our documentation is up to date. This is a paid position, and the compensation is competitive for the entry level market.
