About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Senior Automotive Electrician to join their innovative team, working in a hybrid model that blends remote analysis with on-site practical application. You will be instrumental in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electrical systems in a variety of vehicles, including advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and electric vehicle (EV) components. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive electrical theory, wiring schematics, and troubleshooting techniques. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues in vehicles, including lighting, starting, charging, and accessory systems.
- Work with advanced diagnostic tools and oscilloscopes to troubleshoot electrical faults.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical components for traditional internal combustion engine vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and electric vehicles (EVs).
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and technical service bulletins to perform accurate repairs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians, both remotely and in person.
Requirements
- Certified Automotive Electrician or equivalent experience with a strong understanding of electrical principles.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive electrical repair.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, multimeters, and specialized electrical tools.
- Experience with EV/Hybrid vehicle electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting, with excellent problem-solving skills.
