About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous Industrial Engineer focused on enhancing both quality and efficiency to join their operations in Queenstown . This role is critical in driving continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that our production processes meet the highest standards of quality while optimizing for speed and cost-effectiveness. You will analyze workflows, implement quality control measures, and identify opportunities for process enhancements. This is a vital position for an engineer committed to operational excellence and delivering superior product standards. Key Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for both quality improvement and efficiency gains. Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance. Utilise Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects, waste, and production cycle times. Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Work with production teams to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and quality benchmarks. Track and report on key performance indicators related to quality and efficiency. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, with a focus on quality and process improvement. Proven experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and statistical process control (SPC). Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Benefits
