Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of complex mechanical systems and components. Utilize advanced CAD software for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation. Perform rigorous mechanical analysis, including stress, thermal, vibration, and fatigue analysis, using FEA and other simulation tools. Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on design requirements and performance criteria. Oversee prototyping, testing, and validation phases to ensure design integrity and functionality. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electronics, software, and manufacturing engineers, via online platforms. Troubleshoot design-related issues and provide technical guidance to resolve complex engineering challenges. Contribute to the development of design standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing within the engineering department. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on challenging projects. Requirements
Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 9 years of extensive experience in mechanical design and product development. Expertise in advanced CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA software (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus). Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of mechanics of materials, dynamics, and thermodynamics. Proven ability to manage complex design projects from concept to production. Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for innovation. Superior communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment. Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
