YOUR MISSION AT PLANCRAFT

Love finance processes that just work? As our Finance & Automation Manager (f/m/d), you’ll play a pivotal role in helping plancraft scale with confidence. You’ll own day-to-day finance workflows, streamline tools, and drive automation projects – building the operational backbone that powers our growth. Whether your background is in structured finance operations or automation with finance touchpoints, this role is for you if you thrive on creating efficient systems, value teamwork, and want to grow alongside an ambitious, international SaaS company.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all recurring finance operations (AR & AP) with an automation-first mindset.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial workflows – from pre-accounting to reconciliations.
• Be the go-to person for internal stakeholders, finance tools, and external tax advisors.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities, like tool integrations and improved workflows.
• Enable international financial operations by making tools and documentation work across teams.

Your Development with us

• Salary Range: The salary for this position ranges between €55,000 and €75,000 gross per year, depending on your previous experience.
• Career Growth: Within 12–18 months, you could take the lead on international finance enablement or grow into ERP strategy, finance reporting, or a people leadership role.

YOUR PROFILE

Must-haves

• 2–4 years of experience in finance operations or finance management in a startup environment.
• Hands-on experience with modern finance tools such as Candis, Stripe, DATEV, Pliant, etc.
• Tech-savvy and excited about process automation.
• You’re curious to explore how AI can support your work and eager to grow your skills with our support.
• Structured process thinking.
• Strong skills in G-Sheets/Excel.
• English on C1/2 level and German on minimum B1 level.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with tool integrations (e.g. DATEV ↔ Stripe ↔ Candis).
• Experience in international or multi-entity environments.
• Knowledge in BI reporting, data analysis, or financial modeling.
• Experience with no-code/low-code automation platforms (e.g., Make, Zapier, n8n), agentic AI systems, or AI-driven workflow automation
