Role Overview:
The Integration Engineer will manage and provide technical ownership & vision, primarily focused on enriching protel integrations, expanding functionality and capability according to industry requirements. In addition, the Integration Engineer will collaborate with integration team members on existing technology solutions, to ensure a well-rounded array of integration options are available to satisfy all practical use-cases presented by our integration partners.
What you will do:
- Scope and define features and functionality of new and existing integration platforms
- Expansion of integration platform capability & functionality according to business & market requirement, with support from the integration teams.
- Thought leadership contributions to integration and PMS development teams with creative ideas and pragmatic solutions for industry challenges.
- Ensure continuous alignment with PMS & Integration Roadmaps (protel)
- Design solutions to enable practical & efficient validation of vendor functionality
- Manage integration projects according to business requirements & priorities
- Manage & coordinate enhancement requests and dependencies for the assigned integration products
- Ongoing ownership of the integration’s status and documentation (internal and external facing)
- Internal and external stakeholder communication with excellent negotiation skills
- Analyze trends and drive integration continuous product improvement
- Provide guidance for the development teams in technical matters + operational hospitality knowledge
- High level of independence initiative and ownership
Who you are:
- Strong knowledge of integrations technologies
- Strong hospitality background
- Experience with 3rd party vendor software / integrations
- Strong PMS knowledge (preferably protel PMS)
- Strong technical skills, including experience with APIs and integration tools
- Self-driven and enthusiastic
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
