Planet2050 is a climate tech company building integrated digital infrastructure for the new generation of global Carbon Markets, Project Developers and Climate Communities.
We finance and empower high-quality carbon projects within value chains (Scope 3) and beyond (Carbon Market) – from carbon capture and removals to fugitive grid emissions through biochar, nature-based solutions and sustainable farming projects.
Tasks
As Marketing & Communications Specialist, you will help Planet2050 shape great stories around our work, the carbon market and impactful project developers on the ground.
- Champion communication strategies for climate-focused projects, working closely with project developers to craft compelling narratives and position our brand as a leader in sustainability and carbon markets.
- Content creation (banner, posts, cards) on LinkedIn and Twitter related to climate change, sustainability, and carbon markets, fostering robust online communities, and amplifying our voice.
- Prepare informative market and background articles, promoting climate initiatives, and driving engagement.
- Support the design and execution of innovative multi-channel marketing campaigns, leveraging data-driven insights to refine strategies, capturing attention, and driving media coverage.
- Enhance digital presence, launch newsletters, continuously update and optimize website content for SEO, ensuring a dynamic and user-friendly online experience.
- Maintain proactive communication with partners and agencies, orchestrating collaborative marketing and communication initiatives.
- Identify leading conferences, events, and exposure opportunities for the company.
- Improve website communication, articles and visuals.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Your Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field of study related to Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Sciences, International Management.
- You are a native German speaker, with excellent oral and written skills in English.
- You have knowledge of SEO best practices and CMS tools (Wordpress, Statamic).
- You want to contribute to a growing team of people willing to become changemakers.
- Agility and self-organisation.
