Your mission
As Senior Software Engineer , you will be involved in developing the operation system of a quantum computer. In close collaboration with the hardware team, you will design and develop the control, monitoring, and analysis software that can be deployed to multiple quantum computers.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and code new features and tests to enhance projects
- Share knowledge and collaborate effectively within the team
- Automate testing in CI/CD pipelines
- Document software consistently during development
- Continuously learn about new technologies and the workings of quantum computers
Your profile
Necessary requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in professional software engineering
- Highly motivated
- Experience working with Python, Rust, C or C++
- Experience working with database management
- Experience working with a CI/CD pipeline
- Eager to learn new technologies
- Identify as a team player
- Interest in physics
- Have a valid work permit in Germany or the EU & are preferably based in Munich or open to relocation
- Fluent in English
