Overview
In this role you lead indirect procurement and CAPEX strategy at Planted, driving sustainable commercial value across the organization. You shape strategic sourcing, manage complex negotiations, and oversee CAPEX investments in collaboration with Engineering and Operations. You apply total cost of ownership thinking to buying decisions and continuously improve procure-to-pay governance and supplier management. You partner with cross-functional teams to increase spend transparency and automate procurement processes, aligning with our mission to deliver healthy, delicious, and sustainable plant-based meat.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define and execute the indirect procurement and CAPEX strategy to generate value across the organization
- Lead strategic sourcing and negotiate complex commercial terms across indirect spend and CAPEX
- Steer CAPEX procurement from tendering to contracting in collaboration with Engineering and Operations
- Apply TCO principles to CAPEX decisions, including lifecycle costs and energy use
- Drive Procurement Excellence & Governance, including policies, contract management, and ERP master data
- Optimize and automate procurement processes and increase spend transparency
- Partner with stakeholders across Planted and represent Procurement in cross‑functional projects
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3+ years in Procurement, Category Management or Strategic Sourcing
- Experience in strategic sourcing and complex commercial negotiations across indirect spend
- CAPEX procurement experience or exposure to construction/production equipment projects (a strong plus)
- Strong commercial mindset and ability to construct business cases and KPIs
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced MS Office skills and hands-on ERP experience (Business Central is a plus)
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages a plus
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
