The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an Implementation Consultant to join our team. This role is based in Germany, and the ability to speak fluent German is mandatory . With the consulting team providing a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with the world’s most dynamic and innovative companies. What You\’ll Do
Working with customers to take them through the full package implementation lifecycle:
- Identify and document the customer’s “as-is” environment and processes that link to business outcomes and requirements.
- Assist in the definition and documentation of the required “to–be” business processes and environment.
- Acquire deep Planview Enterprise solution product knowledge – understanding the principles, capabilities and configuration of the product.
- Guide customers through a process of iterative prototyping and validation within the confines of a well-defined, globally applied and proven implementation methodology.
- General project management instruction and techniques.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues.
- Additional customer assistance or internal work as directed by the applicable Consulting Director / Vice President or Managing Consultant, such as functional specification development, documentation and procedure preparation, etc.
- Define, document, and manage the time, scope, and budget to the agreed statement of work.
- Provide proactive best practice advice to the customer’s solution owners to ensure that solution delivery is aligned with desired business outcomes as well as to provide a smooth, effective transition to maximize user acceptance and adoption.
- Understand customers\‘ business problems, priorities and objectives and help define software solution requirements.
What You\’ll Bring
Possess skills in conceptualizing creative solutions and communicating them to others:
- Business fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Develop intimate, trusted advisor relationships with customer core implementation team.
- Able to focus on task and bring to completion.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive projects to closure.
- Willingness to travel approximately 60% and more in critical project times.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Facilitation of workshops.
- Self-starter that can work equally well under her/his own initiative or as a member of a project team.
- Able to address day-to-day challenges when dealing with customers, including conflict resolution; troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues.
- University degree in related field, Computer Science or Engineering-based preferred.
- Self-motivated & Flexible.
- Very good MS Office Skills (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills.
- Ability to deal with senior client management.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders of all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
The following are not mandatory; however, any will be an advantage:
- Professional Services or consulting experience in customer-facing environments.
- Planview Enterprise One Experience.
- Agile project methodology experience.
- Other European languages (verbal or written).
- Strong Resource and Portfolio Management background.
