- About this role
- The challenge
We are looking for a Product Lead for IT Management to lead one of the most strategic parts of Plenit’s next chapter: helping IT Service Providers manage technology at scale, automate more of their operations, expand what they sell, and ultimately become better Technology Partners for their customers.
At the centre of this vertical is our IT Management service, bringing together capabilites such as RMM, MDM, ITSM, Security compliance,
AI workflows automation. But the mission goes further.
You will also help shape how new capabilities and third-party solutions enter the Plenit ecosystem through our Marketplace, how they are packaged and monetized, and how we bring them successfully to market.
This is not a traditional Product Manager role.
You will not spend your days managing Jira tickets or sitting between Engineering and a backlog.
Our engineering squads have technical Team Leads close to execution who can operate as the Product Managers of their domains.
Your responsibility is different.
You will own the business context, market direction, stakeholder relationships, commercial outcomes, and product priorities that those teams execute against.
You will report directly to the CEO and become the person accountable for answering questions such as:
• What would make an MSP move more of its device estate into Plenit?
• Where can AI genuinely remove operational work from an IT provider?
• Which capabilities should we build versus integrate?
• What should enter the Marketplace next?
• Why is a product selling in Spain but not Mexico?
- Is the problem product, pricing, packaging, positioning, enablement, sales execution, or partner maturity?
- Which adjacent products could meaningfully increase revenue per partner?
- And, ultimately: what should we build next to make Plenit indispensable to the IT Service Provider?
You will spend a significant amount of time outside the Product organization, with partners, prospects, Sales, Partner Success, Marketing, country managers, and the CEO and bring that context back into the teams building the product.
You should understand the technical reality behind IT operations: endpoints, monitoring, telemetry, patching, scripting, ticketing, automation, security, multi-tenancy, integrations, and increasingly AI-driven operations.
But you also need a commercial brain..
The goal is to build a product ecosystem that partners adopt, pay for, expand inside, and use to run more of their business through Plenit.
- Expected outcomes and impact
- Own the product and business strategy for IT Management, and relevant adjacent products.
- Own the strategic direction of Plenit’s Marketplace, identifying which products, integrations, vendors, and services can create the most value for our partners and for Plenit.
- Translate company-level revenue and growth objectives into product, monetization, adoption, marketplace, and GTM priorities.
- Develop a deep understanding of the IT Service Provider ecosystem.
Their business models, margins, service catalogue, operational pain points, tooling stack, and customer relationships.
- Become deeply familiar with the RMM, MDM, ITSM, PSA, IT operations, monitoring, automation, and MSP software landscape.
- Track competitors including platforms such as Kaseya, Datto, Ninja One, Connect Wise, Atera, N-able, Manage Engine, Team Viewer, and emerging AI-native IT operations products.
- Understand why partners choose one platform over another, where switching friction exists, and where Plenit has the opportunity to differentiate.
- Stay constantly exposed to partners and prospects through interviews, strategic accounts, sales opportunities, lost deals, onboarding sessions, partner councils, and market conversations.
- Diagnose adoption and revenue problems across products and countries and coordinate the response across Product, Engineering, Sales, Partner Success, Marketing, Pricing, and Operations.
- Define the major product bets for IT Management and translate them into clear problems, priorities, and success criteria for the engineering squads.
- Work closely with Engineering Team Leads, who will own detailed squad-level execution, while providing the market context, customer insight, business rationale, and prioritization they need.
- Identify where AI can genuinely improve IT Service Providers economics and operations.
Reducing manual work, improving diagnosis, prioritizing incidents, automating repetitive tasks, surfacing recommendations, or enabling partners to operate more customers with the same team.
- Build the Marketplace as a strategic product surface rather than simply a catalogue: partner selection, integrations, commercial model, discovery, attach opportunities, and lifecycle management.
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue per partner through cross-sell, attach rate, packaging, bundles, Marketplace products, and new services.
- Work closely with GTM, Sales, Partner Success, and Marketing to define positioning, pricing, packaging, launch strategy, enablement, and adoption plans.
- Ensure launches do not end when Engineering ships. Own whether the market understands, adopts, and pays for what we build.
- Define and track KPIs across product usage and commercial performance: active managed devices, partner adoption, attach rate, expansion, engagement, automation usage, churn, marketplace penetration, revenue, and other relevant business outcomes.
- Hold the line on Plenit’s broader mission: enabling MSPs to spend less time operating technology and more time understanding and solving their customers’ business problems.
Requirements that are important for us
- Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience across Product Management, Product Strategy, Product Leadership, IT software, Saa S, or closely related roles.
- Strong experience in at least one of the following domains: RMM, endpoint management, IT management, IT operations, PSA, monitoring/observability, automation, cybersecurity operations, or MSP software.
- Strong understanding of operational IT workflows, including several of the following: device management, telemetry, monitoring, alerting, patching, scripting, ticketing, RBAC, automation, integrations, and multi-tenant administration.
- Experience owning a product or business area beyond feature delivery, with exposure to areas such as product strategy, pricing, packaging, adoption, GTM, commercial performance, or revenue.
- Strong understanding of B2B Saa S economics and the relationship between product decisions and metrics such as MRR/ARR, retention, expansion, attach rate, churn, adoption, and customer acquisition.
- Experience working directly with technical users and buyers. MSP owners, IT administrators, sysadmins, operations teams, service providers, or similar audiences.
- Ability to move comfortably between CEO-level business discussions and detailed conversations with Engineering, Infrastructure, AI, UX, and technical partners.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using product, commercial, customer, and market data to make decisions.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to drive alignment across Engineering, Sales, Partner Success, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and country teams.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose ambiguous business problems and determine whether the solution requires product, pricing, packaging, GTM, enablement, process, or commercial changes.
- Fluent English and professional working Spanish.
- Willingness to travel to meet partners, prospects, vendors, and teams.
- Nice to have
- Previous experience working for an RMM, PSA, MSP software, endpoint management, observability, IT automation, or IT operations company.
- Experience working directly with MSPs, VARs, IT resellers, distributors, or SMB-focused IT service providers.
- Experience at companies such as Kaseya, Datto, Ninja One, Connect Wise, Atera, N-able, Manage Engine, Team Viewer, Any Desk, Paessler, or adjacent ecosystems.
- Experience launching AI-powered functionality into a real production B2B product.
- Practical understanding of LLMs, agents, retrieval systems, automation, model evaluation, or AI-enabled operational workflows.
- Experience building or scaling a marketplace, app ecosystem, partner ecosystem, integrations platform, or third-party vendor programme.
- Experience owning pricing, packaging, monetization, cross-sell, or Saa S expansion initiatives.
- Experience launching products across several markets or countries and adapting product or GTM strategy based on local performance.
- Previous ownership of a P&L, revenue target, product line, or commercial KPI.
- Zero-to-one product experience, particularly in technical B2B products.
- Why Plenit
IT Management is one of the biggest opportunities in Plenit’s evolution.
Our ambition is not to build another dashboard that tells an MSP something is broken.
We want to build the operating layer that helps them understand what matters, automate what does not require human attention, manage more customers with less operational effort, and expand the services they can offer through a single platform.
RMM, automation, AI, Marketplace, and Go-To-Market all meet here.
You will report directly to the CEO, work with strong technical teams, have direct access to our partners across multiple markets, and own the strategic and commercial decisions that determine where this part of Plenit goes next.
If you understand how MSPs operate, know why most IT management tools become too complex, and believe AI should remove work rather than generate demos, we’d love to talk.
