Plexus are on the hunt for a talented Blockchain Engineering Manager to join a well-funded blockchain network. Our client uses a regulated Layer-1 Blockchain network to decentralise the processing of fiat payments. They facilitate the shift to digital currencies and establish connections with previously overlooked financial institutions within a comprehensive payment ecosystem.
Upon joining the engineering team your responsibility will be to design, build, maintain and optimise all blockchain smart-contracts essential to accommodate the diverse range of use cases supported by our network. You will work with and report directly to the CTO.
What you will do:
- Contribute to the design and advancement of smart contracts with upgradeability in mind.
- Collaborate with the team to create applications that are both scalable and aligned with specifications.
- Sustain the peak performance of the blockchain payment smart contract and its associated services.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior developers.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, evaluating code excellence and ensuring adherence to established processes.
Requirements:
- Highly skilled in Solidity and DApp development for smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM blockchains.
- Familiar with blockchain development tools like Vyper, Anchor, Hardhat, Truffle, DApptools, ethers.js, and web3.js.
- Experienced in secure storage and custodial wallet signing.
- Understanding of Blockchain tech, cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), and consensus protocols.
- Knowledgeable about cryptography, public/private keys, and hash functions.
- Proficient in languages like Node.js, Java, C#, Rust, Golang.
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Leadership skills.

- B.Sc. in Computer Science
- 5 years experience working as an Engineering Manager or Lead
