Interim Head of Procurement - International Food Business - Munich

• Duration : 3-6 months initially, with possibility of a permanent position
• Day rate : flexible dependant on experience.

A global food business seek a Head of Procurement for their German business as part of a significant period of investment and transformation globally. Key requirements include managing a team of 2 Procurement Managers, leading on senior stakeholder engagement (Director up to VP) across all global locations, spearheading international cost reduction initiatives and leading procurement negotiations with global suppliers.

Key Skills required:

• Significant food industry procurement experience, ideally with exposure to direct and indirect procurement.
• Ability to influence at senior levels in a fast-moving industry/company environment.
• Prior experience working in transformational environments and implementing strategic change within procurement.
