Product Owner (f/m/d) - System Team PMT

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner (f/m/d) dedicated to bringing the current tool and process landscape for infotainment development to the next level. You will lead a newly formed, cross-functional team in the metropolitan area of Stuttgart, tasked with developing the needed PMT (process, methods, tools) setup. The goal is to enable the product teams to develop Porsche’s next-generation in-vehicle infotainment system from the ground up. Your scope will range from enabling basic collaboration tools for the teams and improving existing systems and processes to developing a full-fledged continuous delivery pipeline including SDKs for the developing team. In your role, you will be instrumental in defining the system team’s roadmap, prioritizing features based on the teams‘ requirements, and ensuring the team adheres to agile principles from the outset. Additionally, you will foster excellent collaboration with key PMT stakeholders, such as Product Managers, Architects, and Release Train Engineers across the organization to ensure the fulfillment of the needs of the product teams.

What you will do

• Lead an agile team working in the context of PMT for infotainment development.
• Engage with PMT stakeholders such as Architects, PMs, Requirements engineers, and development teams and analyze their needs and requirements.
• Define the vision and goal of the team and prioritize the backlog to balance the different needs.
• Analyze existing PMT solutions on their usage in the context of infotainment development and identify ASPICE conform improvement areas.
• Synchronize with the IT department regarding infrastructure topics.
• Collaborate closely with our development teams and understand their problems and needs in all process areas.
• Keep your ear to the ground for new developments within best practices or new tools for Infotainment software development.

What you bring along

• Several years of extensive professional experience in software development (automotive) and tool development (CICD, SDK etc.).
• Experience in ASPICE and functional safety.
• Knowledge in project and process management taking norms and standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262 into account.
• Experience with agile working methods such as Scrum, Kanban and SAFe.
• Affinity to software development and testing for embedded automotive software.
• Passion for processes and a good understanding of how product teams work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Self-driven, hands-on mentality.
