Locations: Darmstadt (This position can be based in any Arcadis office location in Germany, while the onsite projects will primarily be located in the Frankfurt and Rhine‑Main area).

Role accountabilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end MEP planning and execution processes in demanding data center projects.
- Build and maintain sustainable, trust‑based client relationships as the primary point of contact.
- Coordinate and integrate multidisciplinary teams across planning, design, and execution to achieve optimal technical and commercial project objectives.
- Ensure timely, budget‑compliant, and high‑quality implementation of all MEP systems in accordance with current standards and industry‑specific requirements, e.g., DIN EN50600.
- Foster solution‑oriented collaboration among clients, specialist planners, contractors, and execution teams.
- Take responsibility for technical coordination, change order management, and reporting to project management and stakeholders.
- Utilize modern planning methodologies (e.g., BIM) and digital tools to optimize processes and ensure quality assurance.
- Support and develop colleagues across multiple locations, promoting a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Real Estate Management, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 6 years of project management experience with substantial responsibility as a project‑leading architect or construction engineer, preferably in data centers or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record in delivering complex national and international industrial construction projects, ideally within high‑tech, data center, or semiconductor sectors.
- Strong expertise in MEP systems and their critical role in ensuring project efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Exceptional diplomatic skills and a professional demeanor with the ability to manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations effectively.
- Independent, goal‑oriented working style combined with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to oversee and coordinate complex design and execution processes.
- Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
- Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and abroad according to project requirements.
