The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp-up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.
How You Will CELLebrate
- Setting and monitoring the Accounting and Tax framework for PowerCo Group and issuing related guidelines.
- Preparing Financial statements for PowerCo Group and PowerCo SE according to IFRS and HGB, including coordination of auditor-related requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable Accounting (e.g. IFRS, DRS, HGB) and Tax (e.g. GER/EU/US tax) requirements.
- Developing and optimizing the existing system and process landscape for PowerCo SE and PowerCo Group related to Accounting and Tax, including the implementation of new systems and processes.
- Coordinating the Accounting and Tax organization to partner with business/operations and PowerCo Group subsidiaries.
What You Need For Our CELLebration
- Holding a university degree in accounting, finance, or a similar qualification.
- Profound professional experience in finance and controlling.
- Experience in people management.
- Fluent in English and in German.
What Else Can You Bring
- Having practical experience with SAP, especially SAP S/4 HANA, is preferable.
- Being experienced in accounting according to IFRS and HGB.
- Comfortable in handling government/state incentives.
