The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting out own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. In this, the finance department plays a key role. The unit takes care of all financial processes within the company. The responsibilities vary from preparation of product- and production sites decision to record and analyze all financial company transactions in SAP S4 Hana cloud.
How You Will CELLebrate

• Leading the Tax area of PowerCo SE and driving the further ramp-up of the tax organization of PowerCo SE with a target of four direct employees
• Providing guidance with business/operations of PowerCo SE in all tax matters, and setting group-wide tax standards for the PowerCo Group subsidiaries
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable legal tax requirements and tax policies
• Harmonizing/optimizing and standardizing tax processes to leverage synergies within the company and with PowerCo subsidiaries
• Coordinating tax issues with external consultants in Germany and abroad, and VW\’s tax department, as well as supervising tax audits in Germany and abroad

What You Need For Our CELLebration

• Having several years of leadership experience in a tax department of an international company or a tax consulting company
• Degree as tax advisor (Germany: Steuerberater)
• Successfully completed studies in economics or in the tax authorities (Diplom-Finanzwirt) with a focus on taxes
• Communicating complex issues in a comprehensible and understandable way
• Business fluent in written and spoken German and English
