Wellthy is seeking an Instructional Designer II to design, deliver, and enhance learning programs that empower teams to excel and support Wellthy’s mission. You will partner with subject matter experts and business leaders to create engaging, effective learning experiences that drive skill development, employee engagement, and operational excellence. In this role, you will coach and enable both new and experienced care team hires, ensuring they are prepared, confident, and aligned with Wellthy’s culture and standards. This position reports to the Senior Learning Experience Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and facilitate a comprehensive curriculum for a distributed workforce, including self-paced eLearning, interactive videos, and live virtual training sessions
  • Develop training materials such as videos, gamification, simulations, narration/audio, PDF resources, and case study scenarios
  • Collaborate with peers, subject matter experts, and vendors to drive successful learning projects from start to finish
  • Maintain and update existing learning content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with Wellthy policies and values
  • Lead assessment of the current training portfolio and proactively perform gap analysis
  • Lead organization-wide internal initiatives or events related to engagement, learning, and talent development
  • Serve as a resource for managers and colleagues in the functional training space
  • Support integration of new tools and technologies to improve learning accessibility and engagement
  • Design and facilitate training for teams and internal groups
  • Reinforce learning through follow-up coaching, feedback sessions, and ongoing support to enhance performance

You’re a great fit if you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree
  • Have 3–5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a related field
  • Demonstrate experience creating and delivering remote, engaging learning programs in a professional environment
  • Possess strong virtual facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to multiple audiences
  • Are proficient in learning tools such as Articulate 360, Canva, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar authoring and design platforms

Total Compensation

The starting salary for this position is $66,000–$76,000 per year.
