Job Mission
As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications in either our Worker or Company Squads. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features, optimize performance, and contribute to the PowerUs Mission.
What You’ll Do
- Work within a cross-functional team on full-stack solutions to meet our users\‘ needs.
- Follow and iterate on engineering best practices to achieve a robust code base, e.g., through code reviews and unit tests.
- Identify and proactively address challenges on the product, driving complex technical decisions within your peer group.
- Demonstrate operational rigor around root causing and fixing bugs within your squad’s domain.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Design to build new features.
- Improve the code architecture and deliver high-value solutions.
- Manage and take ownership of individual projects.
What We’re Looking For
- A few years of experience in both backend and frontend development. You’ll need experience with Typescript, but any additional experience with our tech stack (Angular, Nest, Typescript, Nx, MongoDB, Jest, Docker) is an added bonus!
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical thinking skills.
- Self-motivated and communicative.
- You have an understanding and practical experience working with Agile software development practices.
- Fluent English language skills are essential.
For this role, you will need to be based in Germany and able to work in Berlin or remotely.
